Most of our Tsuba are faithful reproductions of museum-quality originals from collections throughout the United States and Japan.  Each is hand made and entirely hand finished using the traditional metal of choice for a real "working" sword - Steel.

Our Tsuba are of the highest quality with many exclusive features not found in other modern made Tsuba. They ring like a bell when "thumped" - and like original Japanese Tsuba, they will last forever.

In addition to our museum quality reproductions, a number of them are Fred Lohman originals - designed by Fred and carefully hand-carved to serve as masters for our reproductions. Additionally, a limited number of them have MON and other finely reproduced (in solid SILVER) works of art that have been permanently bonded to the Tsuba. The MON and other fine works of art are offered bonded to a Tsuba of your choice.
